<li>Once you choose a location for your new statement shelves, you can either use a measuring tape or a level to mark the location for your bottom shelf.&#xA0; If you&apos;re using a measuring tape, simply measure up an equal distance from the floor and mark a small horizontal line where the bottom of each end of the first shelf will go.&#xA0; We recommend using a pencil &amp; masking tape so you don&apos;t have to mark directly on the wall.</li>	
<li>After you&apos;ve marked the lines for your first shelf, hold the shelf up to the line and&#xA0;push the provided screws (using a screwdriver) into the holes in the shelf.&#xA0; Use enough force to make small indentions in the wall - marking where you will install the drywall anchors.&#xA0; If a screw happens to land on a stud, a drywall anchor will not be needed for that hole.</li>	
<li>After marking the holes, remove the masking tape, install the drywall anchors, and fix the first shelf to the wall using the supplied screws.</li>	
<li>When using 6&quot; acrylic letters, we recommend spacing the shelves 8-9&quot; apart.&#xA0; For 4&quot; letters, we recommend a 6-7&quot; spacing.&#xA0; For 2&quot; letters, we recommend 3-5&quot; spacing.&#xA0; Before hanging additional shelves, we recommend setting letters on the shelf to determine the shelf spacing you prefer.</li>	
<li>To hang your next shelf, measure up from each end of the first shelf and mark your lines just like before.&#xA0; Once you have marked the line for your next shelf, repeat steps 2 &amp; 3.</li></ol><p>
	<br>
	<strong><u>Note</u></strong>, the little wood plugs included are for filling the holes after the shelves are hung.&#xA0; They are designed to stick out a little bit. This way you can easily pull out the plugs and remove the screws if you ever decide to uninstall your shelves.</p>
